Skilled visa application review before you lodge
This service is for applicants preparing their own Skilled Independent visa subclass 189, Skilled Nominated visa subclass 190, or Skilled Work Regional Provisional visa subclass 491 application after receiving an invitation to apply.
You stay in control of your application. We check the key parts before you submit.
A MARA-registered migration agent will review your prepared visa application, supporting documents and claimed information to identify issues that could cause problems, delays or requests for further information.
This is ideal if you have already completed most of the process yourself but want a professional review before clicking submit.
What we review
We review your prepared visa application against the information and evidence you provide, including:
- ImmiAccount application answers
- Points claims made in your visa application
- Skills assessment evidence
- English test evidence
- Employment evidence, where relevant
- Qualification documents
- State nomination or invitation details, where relevant
- Partner/family unit information, where relevant
- Identity, character and supporting documents
- Consistency between your EOI, invitation and visa application
- Obvious missing documents, inconsistencies or risk areas
What you receive
You will receive clear written review comments explaining:
- anything that appears missing, inconsistent or unclear
- points claims that need checking before submission
- evidence that should be strengthened where possible
- form answers that may need correction or clarification
- whether the matter appears suitable to proceed on a self-managed basis
- whether a higher level of support is recommended due to risk or complexity
We will be honest. If something appears unsuitable for a simple review-only service, we will tell you.
What this service does not include
This is a review-only service. It does not include:
- preparing or lodging the visa application for you
- acting as your appointed migration agent with the Department
- drafting detailed statements or submissions
- obtaining documents on your behalf
- managing Department requests after lodgement
- guaranteeing visa grant or processing time
- EOI or state nomination strategy unless separately purchased
- correcting major eligibility issues that should have been addressed before invitation
If your case requires more than a review, you may be able to upgrade to DIY + Support or Full Support.
Who this is best for
This service is best for applicants who:
- have already received an invitation to apply
- are comfortable preparing their own application
- have gathered their own evidence
- want a MARA-registered agent to check the application before submission
- want fixed-fee reassurance without paying for full representation
Who this is not suitable for
This service may not be suitable if:
- you have not yet received an invitation to apply
- your skills assessment, EOI or points claims are uncertain
- you have a visa refusal, cancellation, overstay or character issue
- your employment evidence is weak or difficult to prove
- your partner or family circumstances are complex
- you need someone to prepare and lodge the application for you
In those situations, a consultation, EOI review, DIY + Support or Full Support may be more appropriate.
