Choosing the Right Level of Support for Your Partner Visa

An Australian Partner Visa lets you live in Australia with your husband, wife, fiancé(e), or de facto partner. Your partner must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen. The process is structured, but it can feel confusing at first.

The Australian Partner Visa has clear requirements. The main challenge is proving your relationship. You must provide documents, write relationship statements, and show a clear timeline. Many couples find this difficult. This is normal.

Visa Your Way helps you apply with the right level of support. You can choose a File Check before lodging, Guided Support while preparing the application yourself, or full service where we manage the entire Partner Visa application. All advice is based on current Australian migration law.

Our service is simple and transparent. You choose how much help you need. There is no pressure to use full service. Use the options below to compare support levels or learn more about Australian Partner Visa requirements.

Partner Visa Support Options – DIY vs Agent

Your application is guided by a MARA-registered migration agent, so advice is based on current law and policy, not guesswork or outdated forum posts. Partner visa applications are evidence-heavy and can be expensive to fix if something is missed. We help you choose the right pathway, structure your relationship evidence, and lodge a clear, decision-ready application so you’re not guessing what to include. You can choose the level of support you need:

Review Only — For confident DIY applicants £450 (approx. AUD $000)

Our File Check is ideal if you’re preparing the application yourself and simply want a migration agent to confirm everything is complete before you lodge. We review your draft forms, statements and evidence, highlight risks, and provide clear written guidance on what to fix.

This option is not suitable if your case involves past visa refusals, periods of unlawful stay, limited relationship evidence, complex personal histories or anything that Immigration may scrutinise heavily. In those situations, you will need more than a one-off review.

DIY and Support ( Most Popular)– DIY with expert guidance £950 (approx. AUD $1900)

Guided Support is designed for couples who want to stay hands-on but prefer structured direction throughout the preparation process. You receive a tailored evidence plan, templates, ongoing guidance and a final check before submission — a balanced middle ground between DIY and full representation.

This option is not suitable if you want a fully hands-off experience, or if your case includes significant complexity (such as adverse immigration history, inconsistent timelines or very limited evidence). Those matters usually require full professional management.

Full Support — We prepare and lodge everything £1600(approx. AUD3200 )

Full Service is for couples who want their entire partner visa application professionally managed from start to finish. We prepare and lodge all forms, draft statements, structure the evidence and communicate with Immigration on your behalf, giving you the highest level of support.

This option is not ideal if your case is very simple and you are confident completing most of the work yourself. In straightforward situations, a File Check or Guided Support can give you the reassurance you need at a lower cost..

DIY vs Migration Agent – Which Option Fits Your Situation?

Many couples successfully prepare an Australian Partner Visa application themselves. Others choose a migration agent, especially when the evidence is complex or the risk is high. The right option depends on your situation, your confidence, and how much time you have.

DIY may be suitable if your relationship is straightforward. This usually means no long gaps, no unusual circumstances, and no visa, health, or character issues. It also helps if you have lived mainly in one country, can collect documents easily, and feel confident writing statements and organising evidence. Many people choose DIY to keep costs low and only want a final check before lodging. If this sounds like you, a File Check or Guided DIY Support may be enough. We will tell you honestly if full service is not needed.

Professional support is strongly recommended if there are past visa refusals, cancellations, overstays, or gaps in lawful status. It is also important if your relationship history is complex, evidence is limited, or there are children, previous partners, or financial issues. Many couples choose full service to reduce risk and avoid mistakes on a high-cost Partner Visa application.

If you are unsure which option fits you, explain your situation and we will give clear guidance. There is no obligation, and if DIY is realistic, we will say so.
